Works Accomplished
Composed 15-minute ballet "Empress'New Clothes" in collaboration with
choreographer Andrew Rist, performed at Minnesota Dance Festival (spring
96) by Classical Ballet Academy (C.B.A.)
Composed all music (45 minutes) for 5 dance-fusion routines in
collaboration with Dr. Gusztav Fogarassy, Southwest State University, MN.
Music includes latin, Brazilian, Carribean, jazz, oriental, and classical styles.
Composed 20-minute ballet "Madeline II" with Andrew Rist, performed at
Minnesota Dance Festival by C.B.A.
Composed "Eternal Spring" for the Hamline University Women's Choir
(H.U.W.C.)
Composed "Wedding Cantata" (4 works for choir, chamber ensemble and
organ), performed in December '95 at Capitol Lutheran Church in St.
Paul, MN
Composed "Pied Beauty" (poem: Gerard Manley Hopkins) for H.U.W.C.
Composed "Hiawatha I" with Andrew Rist, performed by C.B.A. at

Composed full-length (2 hrs 20 min) musical drama "Wings, like a Dove",
includes 20 songs for small orchestra, 3 ballet sequences, lute solo;
wrote the entire play (a depiction of the lives of St. Francis de Sales
and St. Jane de Chantal, (1604-1621) and all lyrics in addition to all
music and orchestrations. Conducted the premier performance at Scallen
fine Arts Center, Mendota Heights, MN in summer '94.
Composed "Ubi Caritas" for H.U.W.C.
Composed "Une Journee a Paris" for flute and piano, performed with
Julia Bogorad (Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra) at the Hamline University in May 1993
Composed "Gloria in Excelcis Deo" for 6-voice choir and organ,
performed in May '93 under the direction of Robert Wills at Nativity
Church in St. Paul, MN
Composed "Into the Quiet" for full orchestra (10 minutes) performed in
May '92 under the direction of James Riccardo by the Jewish Community
Center (J.C.C.) Orchestra in St. Paul, MN
Composed "The Rose of White" (60- minute ballet in 2 acts) in
collaboration with visual artist Robert Nicpon. Performed the music
at the Scallen Fine Arts Center in May '91, orchestrated excerpts of the
ballet, which were performed by James Riccardo and the J.C.C.
Orchestra
Composed "Almost Spring" for violin and piano, performed with James
Riccardo at the Minneapolis Art Institute, spring 1990
Performed and composed the music for "Elvira", an original ballet for the
Judith Svallander Dance Theater. It was commissioned to honor the
Centennial Celebration of the Woodstock Opera House near Chicago,
Illinois.
Invited to Haiti to write a musical for the "Resurrection Theater", a touring
group from St. Joseph's Home for Boys in Port Au Prince, Haiti.
Wrote the script, all songs, lyrics, and music of "Two Hands and a Flower"
and rehearsed this play with the theater, in preparation for their Fall 1990
U. S. tour.
Composed several songs for the production of "Box-elder Bugs", by the
Lyric Theater, and performed during a two month run in Southwestern
Minnesota and Minneapolis.
Created all music in a collaborative effort for "Nessie", a children's musical,
which was performed by the Lyric Theater. The play and
original music are presently being published.
Composed ten piano pieces for "Ecole de Ballet", created by Marius
Andahazy. Performed and recorded them with the Andahazy Ballet
Company.
Composed chamber music and arranged popular songs for Salmagundi
chamber ensemble (flute, cello, piano, bassoon, clarinet and violin).
Performed these original and popular works, along with works from the
classical repertoire at Minnesota Orchestra Sommerfrest, Minneapolis
Institute of Arts, Landmark Center, and the University of Minnesota.
Conceived, composed, directed and produced an operetta, "Quanta Bella,
Quanta Summa", in conjunction with the St. Paul Newman Center.
Performed at the St. Paul Campus and at the Commonwealth Health Care
Center for senior citizens. Cast of twelve and three performances.
Wrote instrumental and choral music for Lutheran, Methodist and Catholic
churches in Twin Cities and performed during worship.
